Description
The CRM141 phase-stable semi-rigid coaxial cable is optimized for applications demanding exceptional electrical stability, low phase drift, and high shielding efficiency. Operating up to 26.5 GHz with a 50 Ω impedance, it provides precise amplitude and phase consistency under temperature or mechanical stress. Explore the CRM Series – Phase-Stable Semi-Rigid Coaxial Cables for other diameters and configurations.
The CRM141 cable employs a 0.99 mm silver-plated copper inner conductor surrounded by a PTFE dielectric and a 3.58 mm annealed copper outer tube with ternary-alloy plating. This construction provides >165 dB shielding effectiveness and minimizes phase deviation to within ±3° @ 18 GHz. Its robust mechanical integrity supports phase-critical instrumentation and high-power transmission paths.
Attenuation remains as low as 0.32 dB/m @ 1 GHz and 1.88 dB/m @ 26.5 GHz, with an average power capacity of 0.55 kW @ 1 GHz. A velocity of propagation of 76 % and minimum bend radius of 10 mm ensure repeatable phase alignment and minimal signal distortion during routing and thermal cycling.
The CRM141’s solid copper design withstands wide environmental variations from –55 °C to +250 °C, maintaining phase stability and shielding integrity for long-term operation. Its dimensional rigidity guarantees consistent electrical behavior in temperature-sensitive RF measurement systems.
