Reliable and Economical Low-Loss RF Cable for General Use
The CFE500 cost-effective low-loss coaxial cable delivers a balance of performance, stability, and affordability for RF and microwave applications where long-term reliability is essential. Operating up to 18 GHz with a 50 Ω impedance, it provides consistent attenuation, stable phase response, and mechanical robustness suitable for test benches, communication systems, and instrumentation setups. Explore more affordable RF cables in the CFE Series – Cost-Effective Low-Loss Coaxial Cables.
Efficient Structure for Stable RF Transmission
The CFE500 cable features a 1.45 mm silver-plated copper inner conductor, low-density PTFE dielectric, and dual shielding with self-adhesive aluminum foil and silver-plated copper braid. This structure ensures attenuation as low as 0.238 dB/m @ 1 GHz and 1.159 dB/m @ 18 GHz while maintaining shielding effectiveness > 90 dB. The FEP jacket provides strong resistance to heat and chemicals, supporting operation from –55 °C to +125 °C.
Dependable Performance and Cost Efficiency
With phase stability ≤ ±9° @ 18 GHz and amplitude variation ≤ ±0.1 dB, the CFE500 low-loss coaxial cable ensures accurate signal delivery under thermal and mechanical variation. It supports up to 1.5 kV DC voltage and achieves a velocity of propagation of 76%, offering efficient energy transfer for everyday RF use. The cable’s 25 mm single-bend and 51 mm repeated-bend radii allow flexibility while maintaining electrical integrity. For additional low-loss options, visit the Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Series.
