Description
The N Male to N Male Phase-Stable Precision Test RF Cable Assembly — model PCBN-AS-NMNM-1M — is designed for high-performance RF and microwave measurement environments that require excellent phase stability, low insertion loss, and consistent electrical repeatability. It is constructed using Mechanc’s CFT500MWP18 coaxial cable, equipped with dedicated cable armor (reference AS6211), an ultra-flexible phase-stable variation of the CFT500MW phase-stable 26.5 GHz ultra-flexible precision test coaxial cable with FEP jacket. The assembly is terminated with two rugged N male connectors (reference N-JCFT500MWP18AS6211-1). Supporting DC to 18 GHz operation, it delivers low-loss transmission with 1.48 dB typical insertion loss, a maximum VSWR of 1.3, and a durable 10.8 mm outer diameter engineered for heavy-duty laboratory applications.
Engineered for precision RF characterization, the PCBN-AS-NMNM-1M maintains stable impedance and low reflection throughout its operating range. With ±3° mechanical phase stability and ±0.03 dB amplitude stability, it ensures consistent error-vector performance for VNA calibration routines, S-parameter analysis, amplifier testing, and long-duration RF system verification. The robust N-type connectors provide secure, repeatable mating ideal for high-power and mechanically demanding setups.

The CFT500MWP18 coaxial cable integrates an ultra-flexible, phase-stable construction designed to minimize electrical drift under bending, movement, and thermal variation. The AS6211 cable armor enhances durability and handling stability during repeated routing and repositioning. An enlarged 10.8 mm diameter and 108 mm bend radius provide increased mechanical robustness while maintaining predictable high-frequency performance. The assembly supports a wide –40 °C to +80 °C operating temperature range for reliability in varying laboratory environments.
As part of Mechanc’s Phase-Stable Precision Test RF Cable Assemblies – PC Series, the PCBN-AS-NMNM-1M is fully tested for VSWR, insertion loss, phase stability, and long-term mechanical reliability. All assemblies comply with REACH and RoHS standards, ensuring stable, environmentally responsible performance for advanced RF laboratory and engineering applications.
