The SMA Male to SMA Male High-Performance RF Test & Measurement Cable Assembly — model TCAN-SMSM-1M — is engineered for stable and repeatable RF performance up to 18 GHz. This 1 meter assembly is constructed using Mechanc’s CFT780MH coaxial cable, a rugged, phase-stable evolution of the CFT780M Phase-Stable 18 GHz Ultra-Flexible Precision Test Coaxial Cable. It is terminated on both ends with precision SMA male connectors (reference SMA-JCFT780MH-1), delivering a robust and repeatable interface for SMA-based RF test systems.

Reliable RF & Microwave Performance up to 18 GHz

The TCAN-SMSM-1M supports a continuous DC–18 GHz operating range with low reflection and stable impedance. The assembly achieves a 1.2 typical VSWR and a 1.0 dB typical insertion loss over 1 meter, enabling accurate VNA calibration, S-parameter characterization, amplifier and filter testing, and broadband signal verification for SMA-interface test benches.

Phase-Stable, Rugged CFT780MH Construction

The CFT780MH coaxial cable offers excellent electrical stability during bending, routing, and repeated manipulation. With ±5° mechanical phase stability and ±0.05 dB amplitude stability, the assembly maintains consistent measurement accuracy across repeated test cycles. Its 7.8 mm outer diameter, 80 mm minimum bend radius, and 20,000-cycle bend life ensure reliable long-term performance. An 82% velocity of propagation supports time-domain analysis and delay-sensitive RF characterization within a wide –55 °C to +165 °C operating range.
