Enhanced Electrical Performance and Frequency Range

The CFS480U coaxial cable combines a solid silver-plated copper inner conductor and LD-PTFE dielectric to deliver exceptionally low attenuation—just 0.241 dB/m @ 1 GHz and 1.447 dB/m @ 32 GHz. Compared to the CFS480, it extends the usable frequency range by 5.5 GHz while maintaining amplitude stability within ± 0.1 dB @ 18 GHz and phase deviation ≤ ± 2° @ 10 GHz / ± 3° @ 18 GHz. With a phase stability of < 750 PPM across –55 °C to +85 °C, it guarantees repeatable signal performance under thermal variation.

Improved Mechanical Design for High-Endurance Testing

Built for reliability and precision, the CFS480U features dual silver-plated copper shielding that achieves > 90 dB shielding effectiveness, protecting the signal path against EMI and cross-interference. The 4.80 mm PFA jacket provides excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance, and temperature endurance up to +165 °C. The cable supports 1500 VDC voltage withstand and offers the same mechanical geometry as the CFS480 with a 24 mm single-bend and 48 mm repeated-bend radius, ensuring dependable handling during frequent test bench use.
