RF Test Solutions for Telecom Devices

Every telecom device is measured before it ships, and the measurement is only as good as the cable holding it. These are the phase-stable assemblies and metrology-grade adapters that sit between the analyser and the unit under test, on benches that run three shifts.

What Makes a Test Interface Trustworthy

A production test bench is a hostile environment for a cable. These are the properties that decide whether the numbers it produces mean anything.

01
Phase Stability with Flexure
The cable moves every time an operator connects a device. If its phase changes when it bends, the calibration is stale the moment the fixture is repositioned.
02
Calibration Retention
Time between calibrations is money on a production line. An interface that holds its match longer directly increases throughput.
03
Ruggedised Connectors
NMD and equivalent formats put the wear on a replaceable part rather than on the analyser port, which is the expensive thing to damage.
04
Mating Cycle Life
A bench cable can see hundreds of connections a day. Cycle life is the specification that decides how often the line stops.
05
Traceable Data
Conformance testing needs measured performance for the test equipment itself, not just for the device. Assemblies ship with their own data.

Typical Test Assembly Requirements

Test-bench requirements depend on the band and the standard. These are representative.

Our Role

What We Supply for Telecom Test

01
Metrology-Grade Interfaces
NMD and precision adapters that mate repeatably to metrology tolerances, so the interface is not the limit on your measurement.
02
Bench Assemblies to Length
Phase-stable cables built to the geometry of your fixture, so nothing is coiled, strained or dressed around an obstacle.
03
Data With Every Unit
Measured performance, material certificates and lot traceability, formatted to drop into a conformance file.
